First Burn - wax has a memory on its first burn, if you ever have had candles before where the wax tunnels it is normally due to an incorrect first burn.
We recommend you burn your candle for at least 2 hours or until the wax has melted across the whole surface of the candle. After this first burn following burns you can burn for less if you wish.
Positioning - never place the candle close to any flamable furnishings or by an open window but most importantly any draft will effect the burn and could start tunnelling.
Wick - we use the correct wick for the size of our candles meaning that each will burn perfectly, but remember to keep your wick clean and at the correct length around 5 to 10 mm this can be done with sissors or your fingers by pinching before lighting.
Burning a candle for more than 4 hours at any one time can cause a carbon build up on the wick and is not recommended.
Never leave a candle burning alone.
Keep out of reach of Children & Pets
Once you have extinguished your candle secure with the lid to prevent relighting.
